The ban on mountain climbing applies to:
Medical expenses and emergency care abroad,
Search and rescue operations in the mountains,
Transportation to a medical facility or return to Lithuania,
Cases of injuries, fractures, hospitalization, or even death,
Insurance coverage at high altitudes (it is often important to specify the altitude, e.g., above 3,000 m).
The cost of insurance depends on:
Within the selected altitude range (extended protection is required when climbing to peaks above 3,000–5,000 m),
Duration of the trip and country,
Additional activities (e.g., rock climbing or ice climbing).
